This is just lovely – years since I’ve seen Wimpole Hall.
There are some lovely walks around the estate and this one over the bridge and up to the folly is our favourite New Year’s Day one.
I remember one year with thousands of very early purple and white hyacinth in bloom – absolutely stunning!
How wonderful. I missed that one, but I know that every year we still get hyacinth bulbs from the national collection holder Alan Shipp.
Not much sign of hoar frost this year. Happy Christmas Allison.
