Great photo and what fun. I can see the resemblance to RAF wing insignia – even their ears look corrugated. I shall be peering closely at the scruffy Forest of Dean sheep round here to see if they’re the same, doubt they’d make ground crew!

These sheep are so adorable, but this past summer I was crossing a field at Scampston Hall and had to get around a flock of sheep to exit through a gate and several big guys stomped their feet at me. It was quite intimidating! I didn’t know sheep could be mean.
They are cute. Most sheep look stupid, but these are very handsome with the nice ears.
