Another of your super photos. I wish I had your skill with the camera Allison.
Thanks Liz. I take many, many pictures of course (on my little pocket Canon Ixus), so there is usually something of interest to find amongst them.
I really need a new pocket camera.I just had a look and there is quite a range of prices. Do you know which number it is?
I chose one with a selectable macro (some are automatic when you get close) and it is an IXUS 175.
Thanks Allison.
Lovely shot, do you know which Zinnia it is?
It really was from a Zinnia ‘Queen Red Lime’ packet (SR) and most did look like the illustration, but there were also some singles and cones on others.
What a great description, looks like it’s going to erupt!
Exactly, especially when the low sun rays hit it.
Great title and capture!
Thanks Eliza. It’s been a good year for bumbebees here, so there are usually a few around to pose. 🙂
Great shot!!
🙂
Cool picture – the center does look like a volcano.
Thanks – the old crusty bits on the outside really make the embers glow!
A volcano indeed!
Have I been watching too many nature programmes?
