Yes it is like some of the shirley poppies in colour, but with much more panache!
Beautiful poppies, but I think P. somniferum is illegal to grow here.
Oh yes, it looks like a bit of a minefield, with quite a lot of mixed advice. Happily it is OK here, ‘cos there are some brilliant cultivars like Black Fizz.
What a lovely thing! I only have red and mauve, this one is gorgeous.
Yes, so unusual to see edged white. I do love the really dark ‘Blackcurrant Fizz’ though.
