She currently nips out to the vegetable patch, whenever I turn my back, to grab some raspberries, strawberries …
or gooseberries
Later in the season, she will be after the greengages, plums, damsons and apples!

How sweet and how funny, looks like Sadie’s quite a dainty picker of soft fruit.
Indeed! She is quite careful (to avoid prickles mostly I think), but voracious nevertheless.
Billy does that too but I’ve yet to catch him on camera!
Dogs are such sources of entertainment!
My black lab LOVED to eat black raspberries. I had to hurry and pick the low ones first or she would eat them all. When the wild ones ripened, she would disappear into the woods for hours and come back with a purple tongue. I always told the grandkids that was why Wicca was black, and until they were much older, they believed it!
Sadie eats so many windfall apples in the autumn that she actually puts on weight! At least she doesn’t seem to get drunk on them (unlike those swedish elks)
A fruit- eating dog. Oh dear, it’s bad enough trying to keep the squirrels and birds off them.
It’s been a good crop this year so I don’t mind too much. I hope that she enjoys them as much as me though!

Haha, a fruit-eating pooch! We had a lab once that loved raspberries.
They are the best fruit ever. Who wouldn’t want some!
Our July crop is just starting, best in years. The upside of all the rain I guess. Yum!
