Needs must in this weather though! They get there in the end.
Maybe if little bird had a little set of chairs, some nice music, and utinsils, she wouldn’t be so conflicted!
Funny how it is the males that seem to struggle with this. The females are negotiating the feeders just fine!
A determined chaffinch, they are usually ground feeders.
Yes usually, in fact there were half a dozen more on the ground. However, the males have started to do this a lot, but strangely the females can slip into the cages with no problem?!
