Wasps have such a bad reputation, or at least, are more reviled than their bee cousins. I love them! I love their perfect nests and their elegant form and color. Great capture!

    • Yeap … I’ve been watching them pollinate the canna flowers this week, but I have to be extra careful picking runner beans. They seem to like red flowers. You are right that they look chic though.

  2. Christina says:

The structure is beautiful, we have wasps that build their nests with mud in which they put live spiders to feed their young.

  3. Very elegant shot of a lovelg creature.

What a brilliant opportunity to make great photograph, great that you managed to include the wasps. It’s not often we have the experience of being thrilled by wasps!
