Salad for lunch!
A warm salad? I’ve never had it uncooked.
I love raw chard in salad. I’m not a big fan of cooked greens; the only one I really like is bok choy–stir fried, with ginger and garlic.
Oh, I wish these were in my yard!
I am afraid I tend to grow them for exactly this winter display and not the vegetable itself.
At least you are honest. 🙂 I miss fresh-picked greens this time of year.
Nice looking plants.
They are! They last for ages and picking the outer leaves means that they get tidied up as you go.
Colorful an festive.
One might be dating one’s self with the term “Day-Glo”.
Or do they still say that?
Merry Christmas!
Paz
No idea. I’ve obviously not got a clue what it means!
Merry Christmas.
Lovely, why don’t the pigeons get them?
Haha … too bitter?
They eat mine.
