They are all over the Wall of Death Tête-à-têtes

And when it gets a bit chilly … they can still snuggle up together in the Carousel

Ha, I was thinking that was the group plural, but it is a loveliness. That would work too!
I’m so fond of these little creatures. I was surprised to learn in the past couple of years that the number of spots varies on different species. I thought I’d found an aberration when I found a pair with no spots, but that smooth red shell was a feature, not a “bug”!
I remember looking up a chart of them all a couple of years back, when I found a pine lady bird (black/red reversed) and it is amazing how many species there are. On top of that the harlequin ladybird here can appear in many different forms so that can be extra confusing.
