That is a gorgeous photo. I’ve been enjoying all the tiny pollinators on different flowers this year, teeny bees on Daisy Fleabane (Massachusetts). (Via Eliza’s blog)
Thanks. Yes, its been fun watching all the tiny insects on my bolting vegetables (carrots and parsnips). Don’t they just love ‘daisies’ and umbellifers! Eliza’s blog and Peter Hillman’s blog (check out https://petehillmansnaturephotography.wordpress.com/) are a constant source of wondrous images.
A well-appointed syrphid fly, certainly comfortable in its chosen perch–and gorgeous photo.
They are both rather perfect examples of their kind. Plus I really like those burning orange tones. 🙂
