Fabulous photos! Poppies are a plant that always gets me reaching for my camera, but I only have a couple in this garden so far. Must remedy that!
What fun for you! Most of these are annuals, but I am trying to establish some perennial ones too.
Very lovely and such great color.
They are, thank you and the range is expanding all the time. Next year I am going to try ‘Amazing Grey’. Have you seen it?
No, I’m not familiar with it, but sounds excellent. 🙂
You’re so right – can’t go wrong with poppies… that field of them is stunning!
Poppies in cornfields are now so rare, but a few farmers locally are willing to forego spraying the odd field.
Happy bees!
Exactly!
Oh my! I’m seriously envious. They can’t be coaxed in my garden to survive. Yours are an inspiration.
Thank you. The Papaver somniferum are hard to stop here, especially in the vegetable patch. Good thing they pull out so easily!
What a glorious selection of blooms, Allison!
Cheers Cathy! They create such a great atmosphere too.
Poppies are amazing and your photos even more so.
Thank you so much 😉
