A Week of Flowers: Day 7 – 28/11/2020

And sadly the last day of a week of fun, fab, flower photos! This has been a lovely exercise in posting positive, plant pictures. It was suggested and hosted by Cathy at Words and Herbs and has succeeded in cheering up more than just this blogger.

Thanks Cathy! 🤗

I am finishing with some shots of just about the most cheerful flower that I can think of. I grow them every year, usually trying out a new variety or two to compare with my favourites.  I am talking about … Sunflowers:

I hope that you’ve enjoy these favourites too. If you want to see even more flowers you should definitely click through to Cathy’s floral hub using the link above.

Have a good weekend!

Ah yes, your sunflowers epitomize cheer! It’s been a fun week sharing our blooms. Stay safe!

  2. I love them too, and seeing the bees enjoying them makes them even better. Have recently put in a seed order for Velvet Queen, looking forward to seeing that grow!

  3. Robert J Jr. says:

I so love sunflowers in an open field!

  4. Eliza Waters says:

How lovely they are! I’m drawn to the dark ones like ‘Claret’ and ‘Roundabout.’ Mine self-sow, and while the crosses are interesting, over a couple of years they get rather blah. Time for some fresh, new stock. 🙂

  5. Chloris says:

Beautiful. You’ve certainly reminded me to grow some sunflowers next year.
