Maybe ET? Ha Ha!
That would be a surprise! So far we’ve had newts, frogs and mice living in there.
Twice a year, the sun catches the windows on a hotel across the lake here, and sets them ‘on fire.’ If you note the date, and set yourself a reminder for six months from now, I’d bet you could catch the same phenomenon — as long as it’s not cloudy!
That’s a great idea! I’ve checked for the same the sunrise time on the far side of the year (assuming the same horizon position) and I should be looking out for it in mid December.
Ha, nice catch! A sign from God? 😉
Let’s hope! 🙂
It looks magical!
I’ve probably got something unusual growing in there now!
That’s bizarre – and amazing to have seen it!!
It really was remarkably localised. It may never happen again … with different cloud cover and intervening tree growth etc!
great glass house – wish I’d room for one 🙂
Thanks. You can get really cute, small, glass octagonal glasshouses that might suit, or maybe, for practicality, an elegant, tall, wooden coldframe?
I really only plant in a tiny front garden, which is not my own land (we rent a flat on the outskirts of Berlin) – so no buildings allowed. But so far, all the neighbours at least like all my flowers well enough to let me grow them…
Do you have fairies in your garden? 😉 Absolutely magical.
Cheers Cathy. Sometimes I think we have fairies, but mostly it’s the muntjac!
There must have been a nice little opening in the clouds that directed a beam right at your greenhouse. The plants must have been thrilled. 🙂
I am certainly hoping for magic beans!
I immediately thought of Dr Who, did someone steal the Tardis? 😉It’s a lovely illumination.
Ah, I would love it if it was bigger on the inside, just imagine what I could grow!
