Wordless Wednesday – Beauty in the burn

The foliage may be desiccated and blown away, but my favourite annual grass, Lagurus ovatus or Bunny Tails, is looking slightly surreal in Cambridge Botanic Gardens just now: Little fluffy puffs apparently floating in the air.

    Yikes! Awfully dry, but they do seem to float. The bunny tails I planted look similar, but I think it’s bad culture rather than heat and drought!
