Wordless Wednesday – Cambridge Scarlet

Monarda ‘Cambridge Scarlet’ (Bergamot) is my favourite flower at the moment.

It’s a gorgeous colour, a magnetic hot spot in the borders (pollinators love it) and it’s an fascinating shape. It flowers for ages, plus it’s aromatic!

Mmm, lovely! You have a nice big patch of it too! 💕

It looks like our native Monarda, all dressed up with at least one place to go: your garden! It’s lovely.

Stunning! Our hummingbirds love this plant. My naturalized patch of red Monarda in the field is about 20′ round at this point. It puts on quite a show.
